In a perfect world, there would be no need for life coaches or therapists or motivational speakers. We’d all have supportive parents that would encourage us to chase after our own dreams and teachers who would recognize our unique abilities instead of grading us against the abilities of others. We’d live in a society that would value our individuality instead of one that pressures us to conform, and we’d be reminded on a daily basis by friend and family that we can do anything. But people aren’t always the best versions of themselves and sometimes their shortcomings become the foundations of our own.
So if you’re feeling a little stuck in life, it’s not because you really can’t do better, it’s simply that you’ve forgotten just how much better you really can do, and that’s what I’m here for – to remind you. Whether it’s your lack of confidence and self-trust that’s holding your back or that nasty procrastination habit, we’ll work to uncover the root of your obstacles so that you can start moving forward towards the life you dream of; and believe me, that life really can be yours. You just have to believe in it (and that’s something that we’ll work on together, too!).
This is your life, and you deserve a splendid one, so if you’re not quite thrilled about waking up and living it, why not switch things up a bit and try something new? Schedule a free consultation with me and find out how I can help you start Living Your Thrill.
Living Your Thrill isn’t a one-time accomplishment, it’s a daily process that requires you to wake up every morning with enough energy, clarity, and drive to tackle whatever obstacles life throws your way. And believe me, life is going to throw a lot of obstacles your way.
Whether your thrill is to be a rockin’ stay-at-home mom or a world famous rockstar, if you’re going to live it, then you’ve got to get serious about feeding it too. This means making a conscious decision to do things that increase productivity, boost energy, and promote mental acuity while minimizing things that make you feel sluggish and burnt out. We want you waking up every morning ready to take on the world, so if you find yourself plagued by restless nights, frequent headaches or upset tummies, or a general feeling that you’re just not operating at 100%, then we should definitely talk food and fitness.
Not to worry, though, health coaching with me isn’t about deprivation, it’s about liberation- eating in a way that leaves you feeling reading to kick some butt, no matter what. As a die hard foodie and former lover of all things bread&cheese, I’m a firm believer in food being nutritious AND delicious, so we’ll work together to make sure that the things that make you feel good are things you’re actually excited about eating.
Learning how to “feed your thrill” is all about learning how to listen to your body. It’s about honoring your own uniqueness and taking the time to figure out what makes you feel best, even if it’s not what you expected. It’s not about fad diets and calorie counting, but rather making small sustainable changes that together make a big impact on your overall health and happiness. And the best part is that the more you do things that make you feel good, the more you want to keep doing them. So take a stand against common ailments that curb your potential and choose to give your body what it needs to carry you forward instead of holding you back. Feed Your Thrill, because when you feel good, you have the freedom to do great.
Chronic Illness Support
Nothing puts a dent in your life’s thrill quite like having a chronic illness and I know from experience how physically and emotionally debilitating it is to wake up feeling unwell every single day. You may “look fine,” but I know how frustrated you feel as you juggle dietary restrictions, flare ups, medications and doctor’s visits, all the while feeling like no one understands. Trust me, I understand, and more than anything, I want to help you take back control of your body so that you can take back control of your life.
One of the first things I learned when I was diagnosed with Late Stage Lyme Disease is that we are each the ones with the greatest scope of influence over how we feel. Not our doctors, us. You and I. The decisions we make on a day to day basis directly influence our sense of wellbeing; from the foods we eat to the way we choose to feel about our chronic illness, we control whether or not our illness controls us, which is why I do my best to empower you with the information you need to regain control.
One of the most important things that I can do is to help you understand the impact that poor nutrition, stress, and emotional turmoil have on the body and how these can severely hinder your progress and contribute to pain, fatigue, inflammation and other debilitating symptoms. Once we can identify certain triggers that are making you feel worse, we can set you on a path towards feeling better. Together we’ll explore small, sustainable changes that you can make in areas such as diet and supplementation, physical fitness, and stress management that can help to ease symptoms and reduce the occurrence of flare-ups.
That being said, I’ve been around the chronic illness block long enough to know that consistently making “healthy” choices is often easier said the done, and one of the greatest obstacles many of us living with a chronic illness face is the feeling of a “loss of self” that comes with being forced to give up old habits and adopt new diet and lifestyle practices in order to feel “normal.” For many, it can feel like the life imposed on us stands in direct opposition to the life we dreamed of. For this reason, I work closely with you to help you find that perfect balance between what’s good for you and what makes you feel good (physically, emotionally, and spiritually), so that you’re not just surviving, but truly thriving. So if you’re tired of being chronically ill , let’s start talking chronic thrill.
